find a Master Craftsman, not an installer working with a manufactuer to provide you with a hand-made custom garage door, or, carriage house door of the highest quality customized for your requirements; environmental, asthetics, finish, usage, and longevity. “Garage door companies” are notorious for misleading customers about how “they custom build the door”. In fact, most if not all either purchase the door pre-made or purchase a blank or ”flat” cheap garage door and nail some cedar on the front to create a “custom garage or carriage door”.
